Hello! I am a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) who has specialized in working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities for more than a decade. I received my initial training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at the Alpine Learning Group and went on to work in a number of other public and private educational settings, most recently at NYC Autism Charter School where I served as Director of Education. I have also had the opportunity to work across home, clinic and hospital settings with individuals of all ages as well as across international borders with autism programs in Kenya and the Maldives. During my time in the Behavioral Psychology Department at St. Mary's Hospital for Children, I enjoyed working on a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, speech, occupational and physical therapists to treat children with complex medical and behavioral needs. One common thread across all of my experiences has been the need to work collaboratively, not only with a child and his/her other providers, but perhaps most importantly, with his/her parents and caregivers, to achieve long-term success. Thus, parent support and training are often essential components of my services.

 

I hold Masters and Doctoral degrees in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University. I completed a Post-doctoral internship in the Behavioral Psychology Program at Westchester Institute for Human Development (WIHD) where I specialized in the assessment and treatment of severe behavior including aggression, self-injury and feeding issues. While there, I was also a fellow in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities  (LEND) interdisciplinary training program.  Before leaving New York, I served as a member of the Board of Directors for the New York State Association for Behavior Analysis and the Junior Board of the NYC Autism Charter School.

I recently relocated to Denver from the northeast and am thrilled to be living and practicing here in Colorado!
